Accessibility statement
We want every couple and every guest to be able to use TheVows with ease, including people with disabilities. The site follows Israel’s Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities (Service Accessibility Adjustments) Regulations, 5773-2013, and Israeli Standard IS 5568 at level AA.
Last updated: 17 October 2026
01What we’ve done
- Semantic page structure with headings, landmarks and labels that work with screen readers.
- Full keyboard navigation, with a clear focus indicator and a “skip to content” link.
- Colour contrast that meets the standard for body text.
- Text alternatives for images that carry information.
- Full support for Hebrew right to left and for English, with the correct language set on every page.
- Text can be enlarged to 200% without losing content, with a layout adapted to phones.
- We respect your system’s “reduce motion” setting: animations stop.
- Forms with labels and clear error messages.
02What isn’t perfect yet
- Photos uploaded by couples or guests may not have descriptions.
- Some invitation designs include decorative animation. It can be skipped, and it stops when reduced motion is set.
- Outside services, such as the payment provider or maps, are not fully under our control.
